A New Year. A New Decade.
Yesterday, on July 12th – I waved goodbye to my teen years and said hello to my adult ones. And although I haven’t cut the strings completely, I am slowly starting to ‘adult’.
I have a new job now.
A new college.
And am currently learning about those taxes. (“What those exist?!”)
But before I plunged in entirely – I wanted to spend my birthday celebrating my past 19 years. And I wanted to do it in a BIG way… so…
I went skydiving.
Yes… I jumped from a plane. Yes… I was scared. Yes… I would do it again. Yes… I loved it.
In fact, I LOVED it so much – I truly hope I get the chance to do so.
And although skydiving was a fun thing to do – for me it was much, much more. It was a series of life lessons.
I was afraid but I went for it.
I fell but I stood again.
I wanted it … so I got it.
I tried it… and I LOVED it!
Now that I have done this – I can officially say I am ready to face any fear. Adulting included. Eeeekk.
Happy Thursday! XO
